The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and stabilizing patients in the emergency room, coordinating patient care, and providing effective communication with staff, patients, and families. Base hourly rate range $36.00 - $46.28, night shift receives an additional 10% differential pay. $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLEJob purposeA clinically competent registered, licensed nurse who provides immediate, specialized emergency care with a multidisciplinary emergency medical service provider team. Must possess the basic and advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills.QualificationsValid and current registration, New York State RN licenseBLS upon hire, ACLS and PALS certification within the first two months of hire. (free classes offered to employees onsite) Preferred minimum of two years of medical/surgical nursing experience and/or one year of Emergency Medicine or Critical Care experienceDemonstrates knowledge of growth and development across the life span and the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan and delivery of care.It is the employee's responsibility to know the requirements for certification, limited permit and licensure for their individual profession. It is also the responsibility of the employee to notify the employer of the status of any certification or licensure issue or potential issue.
