Job Summary:All potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.As an Endoscopy Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. This includes pre-procedure preparation, monitoring during procedures, and post-operative care. The role requires strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care, ensuring patient stability and comfort throughout their experience.Key Responsibilities:Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, including assessment and stabilization of vitals.Establish IV access and administer necessary pre-procedure medications.Assist the endoscopy team during procedures, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards.Provide post-operative care, including monitoring patients as they recover and offering guidance for home care.Ensure infection control measures are followed throughout all stages of patient care.Required Qualifications:Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.Completion of COVID-19 vaccination series, including booster.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in an endoscopy, gastroenterology, or procedural nursing setting.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support patients and their families.
