The role involves comprehensive training in preparation/recovery and intra-procedure assistance alongside a Licensed Practical Nurse for various endoscopic procedures. These procedures include: - Upper Endoscopy (EGD) - Colonoscopy with biopsy - Argon Plasma Coagulation (APC) - Hemorrhage control - Dilation procedures - Foreign body removal - Decompression Additional procedures include: - Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) - Stent placement and removal - Biopsy and dilation You will also work with Endoscopic Ultrasound (ESU) for Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) and specimen collection.
