The ideal candidate will provide strong clinical leadership, manage nursing resources, and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. This role works closely with physicians, staff, and external agencies to maintain the highest standards of care and safety. *Key Responsibilities:* * Oversee and manage the daily operations of the surgical center, collaborating with medical staff and physicians. * Provide clinical leadership and guidance, coordinate patient care services, and manage nursing resources. * Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, administration, and other departments to resolve patient care and operational matters. * Ensure compliance with AAAHC, Joint Commission, Department of Health, and other regulatory standards. * Respond to emergencies and manage patient flow based on acuity and special needs. * Foster an environment of patient safety, satisfaction, and high-quality care. * Participate in the hiring, training, and evaluation of nursing staff, guiding performance improvement initiatives. * Assist in scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to optimize patient care. *Qualifications:* * Current *New York State Registered Professional Nurse* license. * *Minimum of 5 years* of surgical RN experience and *2 years* in management or supervisory roles. * Proficiency with computerized health records. * ACLS/BLS certification preferred. * Strong written, verbal, and listening skills. * Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary medical team. * Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift/move up to 50 lbs, and assist with patient transfers.Benefits: * *Salary between $87,000 and $117,000 DOE* * Health, Vision, Dental Insurance * 401k with match * Life Insurance * And much much more!!
