Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a PRN Hemodialysis Registered Nurse for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:
* You will coordinate with nursing care for the patient and participate in patient/family education.
* You will work collaboratively with ancillary staff and other patient care personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
* You will participate in performance improvement activities to improve patient safety and quality of care.
* You will maintain cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and other customers.
* You will promote a supportive, team-work oriented environment.
* You will fulfill departmental responsibilities consistent with the long-range plan, mission, vision and values of HCA Houston Healthcare.
What qualification you will need:
* Current RN license in the state of Texas or multi-state Compact License (Employees with RN compact license are required to obtain TX RN license within 90 days of hire.)
* Minimum of 1-year RN experience in a Dialysis setting required, acute experience preferred.
* Ability to operate at various facilities.
* Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.
* Or Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
* Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
