Details Client NameAmedisys Home Health Care - Wheeling Job TypeTravel OfferingNursing ProfessionRN SpecialtyHome Health Job ID29628055 Job TitleRegistered Nurse - Home Health @ Amedisys - Wheeling Weekly Pay$2286.0 Shift Details ShiftDay - 8x5 - 09AM Scheduled Hours40 Job Order Details Start Date01/06/2025 End Date04/07/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Home Health Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) Guaranteed Hours: None Experience: Minimum 1 full year in Adult Home Health or Hospice experience License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Proficiency in OASIS and HomeCare HomeBase used within the last 6 months or completion of a retraining course Job Description: - Provide, coordinate, and direct home nursing care according to physician's orders based on agency policies and procedures.- Responsible to the Clinical Manager and directly supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses.- Conduct home visits and attend periodic office meetings.- Maintain reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance.- Average caseload of 5-8 patients per day.- Handle Start of Care, Wound Care, Follow-up Visits, and other case types.- Willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic; mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate.- Participate in on-call rotations 1-2 times per month.- Complete all documentation within 24 hours of the patient appointment.- Accept every patient scheduled regardless of distance; no guaranteed hours, and productivity must meet 30 points per week. - Open to traveling to other nearby clinics if needed to pick up patients.- Meet weekly productivity expectations of 25-30 units.- Work under a dress code requiring scrubs.- Utilize EMR systems proficiently.- Participate in appropriate training or retraining if necessary.
