*Job Title: Registered Nurse - Home Health**Location: 1650 Champlin Avenue, Utica, New York, 13502**Pay: $ 65/hr**Shift: 08 hours Day (8am-4pm Monday through Friday)**Contract : 13 Weeks **Start date : 01/27/2025 **Job Overview*We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Home Health team. The ideal candidate will have experience in IV infusion, senior care, MDS, hospital medicine, and discharge planning. Experience administering injections, dermal fillers, and the ability to phlebotomize are highly desirable. Previous exposure to a Level I Trauma Center and knowledge of workers' compensation law would be advantageous.*Responsibilities** Provide high-quality care to patients in their homes* Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans* Administer medications, including IV infusions and injections* Monitor patient conditions and update medical records accordingly* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care* Educate patients and their families on health management strategies*Required:*Home Health RNHours are 8am-4pm Monday through FridayHome Health experience is required5-6 visits per day minimumNo on callNo weekendsLicensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in NewValid New York State driver's license.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationComputer literacy, including but not limited to data entry, retrieval, and reportgeneration.Ability to work with patients-families of all ages and in a variety of settings, including inpatient facility and patient's homes presenting diverse physical conditions and social-cultural environments.Ability to drive to and from a variety of settings in varying weather conditions.Ability to perform physical tasks which include sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, bending, and may include lifting a minimum of 40 pounds*Deal Breaker:*Active RN LicenseAHA BLSCovid CardJob Types: Travel nursing, ContractPay: $62.00 - $65.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekMedical Specialty:* Home HealthPhysical Setting:* InpatientSupplemental Pay:* Overtime payExperience:* Nursing: 2 years (Required)* Home health: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:* BLS Certification (Required)* RN (Required)* New York Driving License (Required)Ability to Commute:* Utica, NY 13502 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Utica, NY 13502: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
