Experienced Nurses# Join our team on our inpatient Mental Health Unit! # About the Unit Our experienced mental health team provides short- term inpatient psychiatric care services that treat many of the psychiatric conditions that come through Saratoga Hospital#s emergency department, including depression, suicidal thoughts, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and other conditions that may lead to patients being in danger of harming themselves or others. Patients 18 and older can be admitted to our 16- bed inpatient Mental Health Unit here at Saratoga Hospital under the direction of a staff psychiatrist. Following a thorough assessment by a psychiatrist, certified social worker, registered nurses, patients receive comprehensive care in a safe, therapeutic setting dedicated to helping the patient. About our Team The MHU has a collaborative interdisciplinary clinical treatment team which comprise of dedicated Psychiatrists and Nurse Practitioners, experienced RNs, and Social Work staff that specialize in mental health conditions as well as addictive behaviors.# MHU has a cohesive treatment team with all members working to contribute to the planning and implementation of individualized care plans that incorporates problems, goals, and objectives that are observable and positive, ensuring that the patient remains the center of care. Our teamwork is focused on solid communication, effectively working together to create a unified approach to share information and solve clinical problems as a team.
