Job Title : Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Shift: 12-hour night shifts 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Duration: 13 weeks Location: Glens Falls, NY 12801 Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Collaborate with the medical team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Perform regular patient assessments, manage ventilators, administer medication, and respond to emergencies.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for patient documentation and care coordination.
- Float to Med Surg/Telemetry units when necessary.
Requirements:
- 3 years of ICU/CCU experience.
- 5 years of RN experience.
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
- Ability to float to Med Surg/Telemetry as needed.
- Must have travel nursing experience.
- Must provide supervisory references from within the last two years of employment.
- No block scheduling is considered for this role.
- Must have a New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License.
- A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required for this position.
- Must pass a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance.
Certifications:
- Valid New York RN license or proof of application for a compact RN license.
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
- COVID-19 vaccinations encouraged but not required.
