Job specification - Implementing and overseeing patient care plans
- Monitoring, documenting, and effectively communicating the patient's condition as necessary
- Serving as the primary coordinator for all healthcare disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
- Carrying out physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assessing and coordinating patients' discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Assist with surgical procedures by circulating or scrubbing in, as required.
- Document patient care activities, including the accurate and timely completion of surgical records.
- Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
Candidate requirements - Valid California Registered Nurse Licence
- A bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or an associate degree in nursing (ADN)
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 1 year of either or both circulating and scrub experience within an acute care hospital
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- CPI (Certified Principal Investigator) certification is essential.
