ResponsibilitiesFoundations for Living is a leading provider of comprehensive mental health services for adolescents in a residential treatment facility setting. Our mission is to empower and support teens aged 10 to 17, assisting them in their journey towards recovery and improved mental well-being. We provide a compassionate and therapeutic environment that promotes growth, healing, and positive change.We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate RN (Registered Nurse) to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As an RN in our residential treatment facility, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to our mental health teen residents.Schedule: 5 days per week - 8-hour shifts. Schedule is a two-week rotating schedule and includes every other weekend.Responsibilities:* Administer medications as prescribed and monitor their effects.* Conduct health assessments and document observations accurately* Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.* Monitor and assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.* Provide emotional support and crisis intervention as needed.* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.* Communicate effectively with the treatment team, residents, and their families.* Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities.Job Type: Full-timeQualificationsQualifications:* Current RN license in Ohio* Experience working in a mental health setting, preferably with adolescents* Strong understanding of psychiatric nursing principles and practices* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team* Basic computer skills for documentation purposes* Compassion, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with mental health teens
