Requirements Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Graduate of an accredited program and a valid PA Registered Nurse license required. One year of mental health (psychiatric mental health) paid or unpaid experience required. Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles, and recovery driven service system required. Valid Driver's License required. All Clearances required by OMHSAS regulations. External Description The nursing position (RN) is responsible for completing and monitoring all medical requirements of the program. Merakey Adult Behavioral Health Services support individuals in attaining wellness and recovery through respectful, person-centered relationships and services. These services will promote hope and empowerment to help individuals reach their full potential The RN will be assigned group homes for intellectually disabled adults to oversee that their medical care and ensure that their needs are being fulfilled. The RN will schedule, complete, and attend physician appointments to advocate for our clients. The RN will complete assessments at the group homes assigned and communicate with the physicians to maintain the highest level of care for our individuals.
