Job Description:

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring Registered Nurses in Newark, New York! This role is in person / on site. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

Type: Contract to permanent

Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday – 7am to 7pm OR 7pm to 7am

Pay: $34.00 to $37.00 an hour

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:

  • Assures that all clients' medical files are following polices, practices and procedures, by reviewing all recovery care plans and ensures that documentation is complete.
  • Onsite daily and provides direct supervision and assistance to LPN's and program staff where there are medical concerns; including on call support where necessary.
  • Responds appropriately to crisis and emergency situations in order to ensure/secure the health and safety of the clients. Adheres to regulatory guidelines and follows-up by appropriate communication and documentation.
  • Participate in general, staff, in-service and supervisory meetings
  • Provides programmatic oversight of the development and implementation of clients' objectives as it relates to medication management and/or medical issues. Provides instruction and/or education to clients as it pertains to medication management and/or medical issues. Ensure documentation of clients' progress is complete, accurate and timely.
  • Leads and participates in Tuberculin testing clinic for the Agency on an annual basis, coordinated by the HR Coordinator.
  • Coordinate and document medical program compliance in accordance with Agency and OASAS policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Monitors medication administration records.

Qualifications for the Registered Nurse:

  • Active, unrestricted RN licensure in New York
  • BLS certified
  • BSN degree, preferred
  • Behavioral health or acute detox experience highly preferred
