Arbol Residences Santa Rosa Senior Living is recruiting for a hospitality focused Registered Nurse to join our team! This position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.
Essential Job Duties:
* Administers medications and treatments, including, but not limited to: dressings, catherization, wound care, IV's, suctioning, oxygen, etc.
* Responsible for the Unit and supervising certified nursing assistants.
* Assists in direct resident care as necessary.
* Protects residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
* Resolves resident problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
* Maintains accurate documentation of medication administered and care rendered.
* Maintains continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
* Interfaces with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services.
* The Charge Nurse RN is the supervisor in charge in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
Other Duties:
* Assists in admission and discharge procedures.
* certification Responds to resident emergency call system as indicated.
* Makes rounds with physicians and transcribes orders.
* Keeps physician and family aware of change in resident's condition.
* Maintains the self?respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each patient.
* Assures continuity of services and care.
* Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educations workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
* Performs specific work duties and emergency needs in assisted living facility.
* Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* RN currently licensed by the State.
* Prior experience or education working with Geriatric population.
* Current CPR
