CHD is seeking a full-time RN to work flexible business hours Monday-Friday, no on-call. The RN would become part of a wonderful team of nurses that work with our behavioral health outpatient clinic in Greenfield, MA. The RN will oversee clinic triage, medication refill requests, lab review, prior authorizations, and collaborating with the client's care team, other medical providers, and other CHD programs. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSCLIENT SERVICESDevelop strong, supportive relationships with clientsImplementation of client medication treatment plansInteracting with clients in order to assess needs, provide education and information around health issues and the role of prescribed medications in their treatmentAssistance in the management of medical issuesCoordination of clients' medical treatment with other service providersPROGRAM AND STAFF DEVELOPMENT SERVICESParticipation in team approach including communication with Program staffEnsuring adherence to established CHD policies and procedures for client treatmentConsultation with Program staff for coordination of client treatmentAttendance and Participation in weekly staff meetingsAttendance and Participation in monthly meetings with the psychiatry teamMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSRegistered Nurse in good standingTwo years experience working with a psychiatric population preferredValid driver's license and registered vehicleWORK LOCATIONThis position is an office position (M-TH) with one day telecommuting available on Friday.
