Job Description:

* $3000. Bonus. The Registered Nurse is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities include: At the direction of the Program Manager the Registered Nurse position coordinates and provides direct client care for adults with serious mental illness, or children/adolescents with emotional disturbances. Utilizing a Recovery Based process that consist of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential. The Registered Nurse works with psychiatrists to ensure good outcomes for persons served, including collaborating with internal and external providers to coordinate psychiatric treatment with medical treatment. The position manages pharmaceutical and medical supplies and oversees medication monitoring and administration under a psychiatrist or nurse practitioner.

1. Oversee consumer individualized recovery process relating to their health through support in managing their disease through clinical treatment.

2. Provide and/or assist in providing appropriate medical, nursing, or other health care in the home and/or in a persons served setting as needed.

3. Participate in the assessment of the physical, functional, and psychological needs of persons served, as required.

4. Participate in the development of Treatment Plans by assisting persons served in setting goals linked to addressing identified medical and psychiatric needs, as required.

5. Identify emergency crisis. Make immediate clinical assessments and respond according to accepted crisis intervention methods and techniques.

6. Manage pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.

7. Conduct health screenings and perform health assessments as necessary.

8. Take the lead role and participate in providing medication administrative management and monitoring.

9. Performs any other function deemed appropriate and assigned by the supervisor.

Educational / Talent Requirements:

1. Registered Nurse or Bachelor Science in Nursing

2. State of Michigan RN Licensure

Work Experience Requirements:

1. Understands the concept of Motivational Interviewing

2. Familiar with Integrated Care and Duel Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT)

3. Knowledge about Stages of Change, Trauma Informed Care, Seeking Safety, Family Psycho Education

4. Ability to schedule/plan work in advance and set effective and realistic timelines to meet goals.

5. Maintain a valid motor vehicle operator license with driving records acceptable according to Hope Network policy.
