In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others while working with a dynamic team of nurses by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our students!Who We Are:River's Edge Group Home is a therapeutic group home, located in Thompson, CT, on the border of JRI's Susan Wayne Center of Excellence. The program serves adolescent girls ages 13 - 20, who often present with concurrent behavioral, mental health, and cognitive challenges. River's Edge offers residential, clinical and nursing services, in addition to case management and behavioral support, for girls with below average to moderately impaired cognitive abilities who may have experienced complex trauma. We strive to prepare our girls for permanency in less restrictive, community-based settings with families or other community supports. The Chesterfield Group Home is located on two acres in Oakdale, CT, and serves young men who are involved with the Connecticut DCF.This position requires frequent travel between two of our programs located in Thompson and Oakdale, CT. Salary: $34.00 - $38.00 per hourDue to the nature of our work and the youth who are depending on us, there are times where overtime may be mandated.JRI Provides The Training So That:YOU can follow all procedures related to authorization, monitoring, physician's orders, observation, and documentation.YOU can provide therapeutic interventions to assist students in attaining the goals and objectives on their Individualized Action Plans.YOU can develop medical/nursing goals and objectives to meet student's health needs.YOU can implement nursing and medical objectives.YOU can arrange for medical consultations, appointments, and labs.Why JRI?Be who you are!
