ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide case management and skilled nursing care to clients across Southeast South Dakota. This role offers a highly flexible schedule with the opportunity to manage shifts based on your availability and client needs. SHIFT & LOCATIONS
  • Hudson, SD: One client
  • North Sioux City, SD: Three clients
  • Elk Point, SD: One client
  • Yankton, SD: One client (every other week)
Scheduling Options:
  • Flexible scheduling to fit your availability.
  • Option to see all clients in one day or spread visits across multiple days.
  • Shifts and visit days are negotiable to suit your preferences.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Pay: $35-$40 per hour, based on experience
  • Weekly Pay: Direct deposit for your convenience
  • Mileage Reimbursement: $0.67 per mile or use of a company vehicle if needed

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform wound care, re-certifications, evaluations, start of care, and OASIS (if possible).
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including physical, psychosocial, and environmental factors.
  • Develop and update individualized care plans based on assessment data.
  • Provide skilled interventions to achieve realistic outcomes within specified timeframes.
  • Coordinate care delivery using resources from Right at Home and the community.
  • Communicate effectively regarding patient conditions and coordinate with care teams.
  • Ensure competency with nursing skills and practice in accordance with legal scope of practice.
  • Use professional judgment to delegate selected tasks when safe and appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with 1 year of clinical experience or an accredited refresher course completed in the last 2 years.
  • Current State RN license and CPR certification.
  • Experience with IV Infusion is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with access to an insured vehicle or the ability to use a company vehicle.
  • Working cell phone and ability to respond promptly to office communications.
  • Ability to travel within a 45-mile radius of Vermillion.
  • Must meet current health requirements to provide patient care.

  • Some clients may smoke or have pets. Please ensure you are comfortable working in these environments.
  • Occasional holiday shifts and PRN Saturday availability may be required.
