Registered Nurse (RN)Position Overview: As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be integral in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients. Your role will involve assessing patient needs, creating and executing personalized care plans, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. This position demands strong clinical expertise, critical thinking skills, and a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate patients' health conditions, medical histories, and needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored nursing care plans for each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians.
  • Monitor vital signs and overall health, addressing any changes or concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
  • Ensure accurate, up-to-date patient documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families during challenging situations.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and continuing education activities.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
  • Preferred clinical experience in areas such as ICU or Med-Surg.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
