Job Title: RN Med Surg / Registered Nurse
Location: Kingman, KS

Qualifications: - Current RN licensure in the state of Kansas.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school.
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation and Schedule: - Full-time, three nights per week (7:00 pm to 7:30 am), including every other weekend and rotating holidays.
- Salary range: $30 - $49 per hour, based on experience. Additional pay for BSN.
- Shift differentials: $2.00/hr for evenings, $2.50/hr for nights, and $2.70/hr for weekends.
- Comprehensive benefits package with a sign-on/relocation bonus of $5,000 for a 1-year commitment or $10,000 for a 2-year commitment. Tuition reimbursement of $5,000 per year available.
Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients within a hospital setting.
- Utilize AIDET communication methods with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Coordinate patient assignments with the Charge Nurse and receive bedside reports from outgoing staff.
- Perform and document real-time head-to-toe assessments.
- Monitor patients, report changes, notify providers as necessary, and update relevant staff on patient conditions.
- Administer medications following approved techniques and protocols.
- Educate patients and their families, documenting in the electronic flow chart.
- Perform hourly rounds and collaborate with support staff to provide patient teaching.
Additional Information: - The facility is a not-for-profit acute care hospital with fewer than 50 beds.
- Target nurse-to-patient ratio is 5:1, often 3-4:1 until census grows. Depending on census, additional nursing or CNA support may be available.
