Summary:

This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within the department, while also promoting patient self-management and empowering patients and families to achieve optimal wellness and independence. The RN engages in both direct and indirect patient care activities and oversees the practice of MA's and LPN's. The Registered Nurse (RN) reports to the Nurse Supervisor and Physician Chair for the Family Medicine department. Position is located in Dorchester, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly assess and triage patients
• Collaborate with the care team to create a proper treatment plan
• Educate patients on treatment plan
• Maintain worksite safety and confidentiality standards
• Mentor and oversee other staff as needed

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Massachusetts, or ability to obtain before start date
• Current CPR Certification
• Experience in family medicine/pediatrics preferred

Salary: $72,000+/yr based on experience
