Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in Long Term Care is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a residential setting. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver quality patient care and maintain accurate health records.Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate and complete health care records and reports for each patient.Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects and adverse reactions.Prescribe and manage assistive medical devices and related treatments.Record patient vital signs and other relevant medical information.Order and interpret medical diagnostic and clinical tests as needed.Monitor, report, and document symptoms or changes in patient conditions.Administer non-intravenous medications as prescribed.Assess, implement, plan, and evaluate patient nursing care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.Modify patient health treatment plans based on conditions and responses.Job Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a long-term care setting.Vaccination Requirement: COVID-19 vaccination with 2 shots and booster.License/Certification: Current Massachusetts RN license and BLS certification required.
