Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in Long Term Care is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a residential setting. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver quality patient care and maintain accurate health records.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and complete health care records and reports for each patient.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects and adverse reactions.
- Prescribe and manage assistive medical devices and related treatments.
- Record patient vital signs and other relevant medical information.
- Order and interpret medical diagnostic and clinical tests as needed.
- Monitor, report, and document symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
- Administer non-intravenous medications as prescribed.
- Assess, implement, plan, and evaluate patient nursing care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
- Modify patient health treatment plans based on conditions and responses.
Job Requirements:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a long-term care setting.
- Vaccination Requirement: COVID-19 vaccination with 2 shots and booster.
License/Certification: - Current Massachusetts RN license and BLS certification required.
Education: Bachelors Degree
Certification: Basic Life Support
