Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in pediatric care. The successful candidate will provide patient-centered care to children from various departments, including the Operating Room (OR), Emergency Room (ER), and Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role requires advanced clinical skills, strong collaboration with healthcare teams, and leadership in mentoring staff.Key Job Duties:Pediatric Patient Care:Provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients from OR, ER, and ICU, managing cases ranging from low to high acuity.Clinical Assessments & Interventions:Perform thorough assessments, administer intravenous therapy, provide complex wound care, and monitor drainage devices to ensure patient well-being.Collaboration with Healthcare Team:Work closely with physicians and healthcare professionals on a daily basis to deliver the best patient outcomes and optimize care plans.Relationship Building:Establish trust-based, collaborative relationships with physicians, leveraging your clinical expertise and commitment to patient care.Leadership & Mentorship:Serve as a mentor, coach, and team leader for inexperienced licensed and unlicensed staff, fostering a positive, collaborative working environment.Medication Administration:Administer medications and document accurately using electronic medical records (E-Mar) to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.Care Planning & Documentation:Develop and document comprehensive patient care plans, using nursing diagnoses, identifying expected outcomes, and selecting appropriate nursing interventions.Patient Condition Assessment:Continuously assess signs and symptoms to identify physiological and psychosocial changes in patients' conditions, ensuring timely interventions.Supervision:Provide oversight and guidance to patient care assistants, ensuring the highest standard of care. Job Requirements:Education:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.Experience:A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatric care.Licensure/Certification:Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. \n
