Job Description: - Holiday incentive rate offered for an 8-week assignment, contingent on starting on the posted date.- Must be available to work Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day, although scheduling on all holidays may not occur.- Care for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics.- Work in a Medical Surgical Overflow unit dealing with procedures such as Total Hip, Knee, and Shoulder Arthroplasty, and trauma patients.- Patient ratio is 1:5-6 with an average daily census of 24 in a 27-bed unit.- Familiarity with unit systems such as Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR is necessary.- Required to wear navy blue scrubs.- Must work every other weekend unless specified otherwise.- Flexibility to float within the facility is required.- No call requirements.- Two supervisory references preferred at application.- If major holidays coincide with the assignment, the expectation is to work during those periods.- Availability to submit core items and complete other requirements promptly to ensure an on-time start is crucial.
