Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to the neonate that is consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and Hospital.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Requires two (2) years of college. General knowledge of a specialized or technical field normally associated with an A.A. or A.S. degree.Experience: 3 years NICU RN Experience Required.License: Have a current license issued by New York State to practice as a registered nurse.Certification: Obtains neonatal resuscitation within six (6) months of employment.Working Conditions:Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterityOccupational: Significant occupational riskPhysical Effort: Very Heavy effort.
