Under limited supervision provides excellent client care in an environment that is respectful of others, adaptive to change, and accountable for outcomes and in collaboration with physicians, case managers and other mental health professionals.
- Direct Clinical Care: Provides high quality, age appropriate and individualized, goal-directed services to clients and families at a competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process. Provides comprehensive assessment for clients whose needs range from uncomplicated to complex. Organizes and prioritizes nursing care activities considering the needs of the clients and other factors. Provides age-appropriate interventions to clients based on individual needs and consistent with the client POC.
- Professional Development: Maintains current and up-to-date knowledge and skills related to client treatment. Assumes personal responsibility for professional development and annual requirements of the position.
- Safety: Delivers safe and effective care in collaboration with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results using established outcome measures to evaluate effectiveness of care.
