JOB TITLE (#25141): Registered Nurse - Nursing Home Surveyor/Complaint InvestigatorLocation: New Rochelle, NYGreenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Registered Nurse - Nursing Home Surveyor/Complaint Investigator to fill an opening with a Review Company located in New Rochelle, New York.Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Nursing Home Surveyor/Complaint Investigator: Must have an NYS Registered Nurse licenseMust have a minimum of 2 years experience performing utilization review, claims adjudication, medical review, fraud investigation, surveillance, or monitoring activities; OR3 years of clinical or administrative experience; ORA Bachelor's degree in nursing and 2 years of clinical or administrative experienceSMQT Certification is preferred but should be able to obtain within 12 months of employmentMust have a valid driver's license & the ability to travel to on-site facilities to review assignmentsMust have at least one (1) year of survey experienceBenefits of the Registered Nurse - Nursing Home Surveyor/Complaint Investigator: The salary for this position is $60 / hrThis is a Contract/Travel positionMileage reimbursementFlexible ScheduleResponsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Nursing Home Surveyor/Complaint Investigator: Participate in surveys or complaint investigations to include allegations of abuse and neglect, and perform surveillance activities/tasks at nursing homes (long-term care) to determine compliance with Federal and State regulations.Produce written documentation and draft a Statement of Deficiencies (SOD) within the required time frame, using Principles of Documentation.Assess compliance with the Plan of Correction within the required time frame.Complete data entry in Federal and State reporting databases as required.Participate in State monitoring during Immediate Jeopardy situations.Attend meetings as required.Testify in administrative hearings as needed.Adhere to DOH work schedules.Adhere to DOH and company policies, and procedures.Travel to onsite locations according to work schedule.#J-18808-Ljbffr
