A nonprofit organization on Long Island is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing Learning & Professional Development Team About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:
- Educating agency staff on various medical/health-related topics course, including: AMAP, AMAP Recertification Training, Infection Control, First Aid & Seizure Training, Bloodborne Pathogen Education, Tuberculosis, OPWDD Diabetes, Tube Feeding, and Colostomy Bag Trainin
- Managing, overseeing, and administering Mantoux (PPD) testing
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prior experience working in the field of Intellectual Disability/Development Disability
- Knowledge of OPWDD regulations as they relate to the above training
- Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.)
