A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the planning, implementing and evaluation of care for a given patient population with the established standards and practices of Crouse Hospital. This process is enacted through direct clinical practice, management of patient care and general professional duties.
Education/Experience Requirements
Required:
+ Graduate of an accredited associate degree
Preferred:
+ Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree
*Bachelors degree required within 8 years of being hired or those licensed after 2017.
+ One (1) year Operating room or Surgical nursing experience
Licensure/Certification Requirements
Required:
+ Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse
+ Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred:
+ Certification in a specialty area.
Critical Care Nursing
+ PALS required within one year
+ ACLS required within one year
Hourly Rate Range
$33.00 - $47.86
