Hutchings Psychiatric Center (HPC) has immediate career opportunities for Registered Nurses (RNs), no previous psychiatric experience required.

Nurses at HPC are vital members of a multi-disciplinary team focused on providing compassionate care and patient-centered and recovery-focused mental health services to individuals with serious mental illness.

HPC, a NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) facility and Joint Commission accredited hospital, is a comprehensive, community-based mental health system serving the Central New York region located in Syracuse, NY. Minimum Qualifications:

Registered Nurse 1 Psychiatric

NYS License and current registration to practice as a professional nurse.

Registered Nurse 2 Psychiatric

NYS License and current registration to practice as a professional nurse and two years of post-licensure clinical experience, 50% of which includes working with those diagnosed with mental illness, addiction, or substance use disorder.
