General Summary of Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN)to join our Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) team at MedStar Southern MarylandHospital. MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital is a Complex Care Hospital. TheIMC RN will provide high-quality patient care for individuals who require closemonitoring and frequent assessment, supporting patients transitioning from ICUor at high risk of requiring critical care. As part of a multidisciplinaryteam, the IMC RN provides comprehensive care, including assessments,treatments, and continuous observation, ensuring patient stability andpreventing complications.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.

This position has a hiring range of $37.50 - $54.91
