Position Requirements Registered nurses (RNs) perform many jobs. Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members RN's are expected to provide a wide range of skilled nursing support which may include:
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
  • Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity.
  • Observing and recording patient behavior
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Contribution to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to the patients and their families, RNs create harmonious environment.
  • Maintaining reports of patients' medical histories, and monitoring changes in their condition.
  • Carrying out the requisite treatments and medications.
  • Checking the stock on a regular basis for maintaining the inventory level, and placing orders if required.
  • Adhering with the protocols, norms, rules and regulations to maintain complete medical records.
  • Maintaining hygienic and safe working environment in compliance with the healthcare procedures.
  • Providing necessary guidance on health maintenance and disease prevention.
