Join our team and embark on a rewarding journey as a Registered Nurse, making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients throughout the Portland, OR area.*Compensation Range:* $46 to $52 per hour (based on experience)*Job Responsibilities (not limited to):** Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and deliver exceptional nursing care to patients across different clinical settings.* Treatment Implementation: Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols and physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort.* Collaborative Care: Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, communicate pertinent information, and ensure continuity of care across different healthcare facilities.* Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques to promote optimal health outcomes and empower patients in managing their health.* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.* Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evaluate patient outcomes, and contribute to enhancing the quality and effectiveness of nursing care delivery.* Professional Development: Stay updated with current nursing practices, guidelines, and technologies through continuing education and professional development opportunities.*Job Qualifications:** Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon* Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience, with experience in diverse clinical settings preferred* Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members* Ability to adapt to changing environments, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision* Reliable transportation to and from the Portland metro area* BLS/CPR certification (required); additional certifications may be preferred (e.g., ACLS, PALS)*Benefits:** Signing bonus of $2500* Sick Time* Bonus Incentives* Paid Time Off (PTO)* Medical, Dental, Vision, Disabilities InsuranceIf you have any questions, please feel free to contact ...@vandahealth.net.
