Job DescriptionAdelphi is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide services at a facility in Victorville, California. The ideal candidate will collaborate with other care team members to provide nursing care to patients while ensuring adherence to standards of care and practice. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. Administer medications to patients as prescribed. Perform venipuncture for the purpose of obtaining laboratory specimen. Work collaboratively with the staff physician(s) and consulting physician(s) in planning, instituting, evaluating, and revising program plans. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to implement patient care plans. Prepare medical documentation for transferring inmates/patients. Comply with all state requirements and facility policies and procedures. Additional duties as assigned.
