The Behavioral Health Nursing team up at the Union Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to work 36 hours per week - Night shift during the week with rotation day shifts, on weekends. Weekends and Holidays are per the department guidelines.
Behavioral Health (Psych) nursing experience in an Inpatient or Outpatient setting is required. Knowledge of Crisis Area is strongly preferred. Candidates with strong Medical Surgical experience with a demonstrated passion for this area will also be considered.
REQUIREMENTS:- BSN preferred
- Current Maryland RN license or eligibility for Maryland RN license
- BLS required
- Psychiatric Nursing experience is not required but should demonstrate a passion for working with the psychiatric population and ability to learn.
- Preferred two year med/surg experience in an acute care setting
- Professional Certification in Psychiatric–Mental Health or Medical/Surgical preferred
