As a nurse on 6 Pavilion at St. Peter's Hospital , you will care for a mix of surgical orthopedic, surgical bariatric, and general medical/surgical patients. Patients typically on admitted to this unit include post-operative joint replacements, pre-operative fractures, and post-operative roux-en-y (RYGB).

What you will do:
Ensures quality nursing care is rendered to all patients in accordance with the New York Nurse Practice Act, National Standards of Practice, and Nursing and Clinical Service standards of care and practice.
Utilizing the Nursing Process, plans, directs, and supervises the care of patients in addition to being involved in the provision of direct care of patients and families.
What you will bring:
Current and valid NYS RN license
ASN/BSN from an accredited nursing program
Minimum 1-year recent Acute experience
BLS Certification (Preferred)
Effective verbal and written communication
Pay Range: $35.00 - $47.75
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
