We take our jobs seriously, but at the same time we have fun doing it.Job Duties of Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Control Preventionist Include:Staff education related to infection prevention practicesConducts outbreak investigations, identifies patterns, seeks to ascertain source and mitigate risk factors and outbreakAnalyzes infection and process measure data to evaluate performance and recommend changes or update procedures, as indicated and reports at QAPI Committee meetings.Supports and acts as lead for antibiotic stewardship initiative.Responsible for collecting and reporting CMS, NHSN and ODH reporting requirements related to COVID testing/tracking , Vaccination tracking/schedules for employees and residents.Participate in survey preparation and on-site survey process for both Anna Maria and Kensington.Weekend On-Call RotationQualificationsJob Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Control Preventionist Include:Requires active, unsanctioned license as a RegisteredNurse (RN) in OhioRequires achievement of specialized training related to role within six months of entering into position, preferably certification
