Job Description: DescriptionCommunity Options, Inc.is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.We are in search ofaRegisteredNurseinManhattan, NY to deliver care to individuals with disabilities in a community setting, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The Registered Nurse delivers care to individuals with disabilities in a community setting utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.Starting pay is $90,000-$100,000/annuallyResponsibilitiesEnsure individuals attend medical appointments per their Individual Support Plan (ISP)Advise supervisor of all concerns and issues related to the provision of nursing servicesCreate and distribute medical/health reports detailing general health, health care goals, and physician recommendationsConduct programmatic trainings including medication administration and delegationDevelop and update Individual Support Plans (ISP)/Person Centered Plans (PCP) with an interdisciplinary team to include any concerns, observations, and behavioral developmentsTrain employees on the medical needs of assigned individualsMonitor health and medical conditions of individuals and refer for medical services as neededMonitor the use of medications through medication administration logsEnsure health service supplies are available and replenished as neededEnsure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timelyEmployees must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigationAdditional tasks and responsibilities may be assignedMinimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in nursing fieldMinimum of one year of experience providing nursing services to individuals with disabilitiesValid R.N. licenseValid driver's license with a satisfactory driving recordAbility to calculate figures related to medication dosagesUnderstanding and commitment to community-based support for persons with disabilitiesProficient with Microsoft OfficeWhy Community Options?Competitive Insurance Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) Day 1Paid Holidays—Including a Birthday HolidayGenerous PTOEmployee Incentive & Discount Programs403b Retirement PlanIncredible career growth opportunitiesCommunity Options is an Equal Opportunity EmployerM/F/D/V
