Overview

Sign On Bonus Eligible!

$6,000 - 1-4 years RN experience, 2-year work commitment

$9,000 - 5+ years RN experience, 2-year work commitment

Pay range for this position is $37.70 - $48.74/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure.

POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.

We are an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) Women's health unit, which means all Nursing staff are trained for Labor & Delivery, Post-partum, OBGYN Triage, Lactation support, Operating room, PACU, Level II Nursery and GYN surgical cases. Women's Health Hospital RN, Patient education and Lactation consultant experience is preferred.

Float and support the OB Department with basic needs:

Scheduling, checking in, rooming patients, assisting with procedures, pre-op and post-op care, stocking, ordering, phone and my chart messages, surgery scheduling, etc..

* BLS/CPR Class to start and every 2 years

* NRP Class to start, or before end of orientation and every 2 years

* Surgical Scrub Tech certification or will need to take the OSF 12-week scrub training class during orientation.

The orientation time period depends on the level and years of experience in the Specialty clinic, L&D & Surgical Scrub.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan) Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: BSN Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
