About the job Registered Nurse/RN - Med Surg HireNow Staffing is in search of highly skilled and empathetic Registered Nurses to become part of our renowned and award-winning teaching hospital in Rochester, New York. Located on the southern shore of Lake Ontario. We have both Rotating Shifts and Night Shifts available. Position: Registered Nurse/RN - Med SurgLocation: Rochester, NY Pay Details: $90,000 - $125,000 Job Details: Full-time, 12-hour shifts with competitive salary. Rotating and night shifts available. Registered Nurse/RN - Job Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical or telemetry units. - Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. - Educate patients and families about conditions and treatment plans. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. - Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records. - Comply with all hospital policies and procedures. - Adhere to infection control and safety protocols. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Registered Nurse/RN Qualifications: - Active RN license in New York State. - At least 1 year of experience in medical-surgical or telemetry units. - BLS certification; ACLS preferred. - Proficient clinical skills in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
