Baxter Regional Medical Center Bone # Joint Clinic is the office of Dr. Win Moore and Cheyenne Morgan, PA. The nursing staff includes#both#a#RN and a#LPN position. An average patient load for the office is between 55-65 patients each day. The most common procedures scheduled are total joint replacements, knee and shoulder scopes, trigger finger release, and carpal tunnel release. The RN position#manages precertification for non-surgical procedures, medication renewals, and prior authorizations for injectable drugs. they are also responsible for nurse visits for suture removal, wound, and cast checks.#The LPN Position#scribes for Dr. Moore on clinic days, takes care of precertification for surgical procedures, and provides education for surgery patients.#They also#work closely with the scheduling and PST departments to ensure smooth transitions from the clinic to surgery. Both nurses handle a myriad of phone calls related to patient care throughout the day. Their overall goal is to provide excellent care for every patient every day to ensure optimal outcomes.# Job Summary: Responsible and accountable for#assisting physician(s) in providing orthopedic care and treatment to patients. Required Qualifications: Current RN license in the State of Arkansas Current Registered Orthopedic Tech certification within 1 year of employment Minimum of two years experience in a clinic or hospital setting Preferred Qualifications: Current RN license in the State of Arkansas Orthopedic or Physical Therapy experience Safety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.# #
