Our Critical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurses care for patients who are not serious enough to be in ICU, but not stable enough to go to a Med Surg Unit. You will work with patients involving Cardiac based care (HF, Arrythmias, STEMI/ NSTEMI, electrolyte imbalances, hypo/hyper-tension, post cardiac surgical interventions), plus a variety of other serious diagnoses i.e. strokes, cancer, renal failure, sepsis, OD, seizures, diabetes, etc. PCU is a great place if you're looking for a challenge or for new Nurses with a long-term goal of working in ICU, SICU, ED, Cath Lab, Leadership, etc.
