Job SummaryNovant Health is hiring a regional float registered nurse for the 12 hour night shift at our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, NC. We're offering up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus as well as $7,500 relocation.

About the Central Scheduling and Staffing Office (CSSO) department:We're seeking a Regional Float, RN to join our team in our Central Scheduling and Staffing Office department. As a Regional Float RN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care across multiple coastal hospitals within our healthcare network. You will serve as a flexible resource by floating to various coastal hospitals within our network, including New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Pender Medical Center, Orthopedic Hospital, Brunswick, and Scott's Hill Hospital. Join a team-oriented environment that values teamwork, team member engagement, and community involvement.Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to plan and prioritize care interventions.
  • Engage in dialogue with patients and support systems.
  • Mentor and support team members through precepting, orientation, and conflict resolution.
  • Appropriately delegate tasks while ensuring patient safety.
  • Float to other hospitals at Novant Health.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and (ACLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
  • Three years of acute nursing experience required.
