A nonprofit services organization in New York is looking to add a new, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join one of their Residential Housing Programs in Rockland County. About the Opportunity:
- State Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Patient Population: Adult IDD population
- Call Schedule: None
- EMR: PrecisionCare
Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse (RN) will:
- Work with residential staff to provide individuals appropriate, quality medical care
- Ensure that the medical and health needs of individuals are met
- Handle ongoing communication with the Residential Management team and staff
- Follow OPWDD regulations
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Clinical experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Microsoft Office Suite proficient
- Solid assessment and documentation skills
- Patient oriented
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
