Our dedicated health care team is an integral part of the compassionate quality care we provide for our residents and their families.RN Duties Include:* As a Registered Nurse (RN) supervisor, complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff.* Measure and record residents' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration as needed upon assessment.* Care Plan development and modification* Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.* Administer high-quality nursing care to residents.* Develop and implement resident treatment and care plans.* Monitor and report any changes in resident symptoms or behaviors.* Communicate effectively with collaborating physicians and specialists regarding resident care.* Educate residents on health maintenance and disease prevention.* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all residents.* Provide emotional support to residents and their families.* Provide information to residents & staff by answering questions and requests.* Maintain a cooperative relationship among health care teams.QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:* Current New York State RN license in good standing.* Familiarity with NYS Department of Health regulations and guidelines.* Previous experience in long-term care preferred.* Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.ACKNOWLEDGEMENTPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
