General Information:Job title: Registered Nurse - UW Health Specialty ClinicLocation: UW Health Specialty Clinic - Mauston, WISchedules Available: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period; 8:00am-4:30pmWeekend rotation: No weekendsHoliday rotation: Paid Time Off for HolidaysPosition Summary:The Registered Nurse (RN) position assists with day-to-day nursing activities. The RN works collaboratively as an active member of the interprofessional team. Systematically and continuously collects and assess data related to patient health status to develop, execute and evaluate the plan of care. Work independently within their scope of practice to achieve clinical outcomes. This position requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare.Position Responsibilities/Skills:Utilizes data to continuously meet care coordination needs across settings in conjunction with the patient, family, and/or other care providers.Assumes responsibility and accountability for affective managing nursing care of individual patients.Documents nursing assessment and interventions to reflect comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care.Assist or perform procedures (e.g., ECG's, catheter changes, injections, etc.)Telephone, My chart and in-person triage.Chart prep and paperwork, including prior authorizations, FMLA, CMN forms, etc. Assist with medication management (e.g., medication renewals)Attend daily huddles, monthly PCS meetings, monthly clinic meetings, CCM and RWHC meetings, etc.Serve as a mentor and resource to others.Perform other duties as requested.Position Requirements:Two-year degree in nursing required. Four-year degree preferred.Must hold and maintain nursing license.CPR/BLS certification required.1+ years of related work experience required.Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesIntermediate proficiency with computers is requiredComprehensive nursing skills and knowledge of equipment such as retinal scanners, EKG, etc.Thorough understanding of triage.Strong quantitative and analytical competency.Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
