Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) - Full Time
- Under the direction of a physician, administers various sleep studies in order to diagnose the type and extent of sleep disorders.
- Performs routine patient assessments, scores sleep records, documents other test results, and collects and transmits biological specimens for analysis.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Works under general supervision.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
- Associate's degree or equivalent and certification as a polysomnographic technician.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
