The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care services to patients while working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes. This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in a patient-centered environment and are committed to excellence in respiratory therapy.*Key Responsibilities** Assess, plan, and implement respiratory therapy treatments for patients in an inpatient setting.* Administer medications, oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and other respiratory interventions as prescribed by physicians.* Perform diagnostic tests, such as arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and pulmonary function tests, to evaluate patients' respiratory conditions.* Monitor patients' responses to therapy and adjust treatments as necessary.* Educate patients and families on respiratory care, equipment usage, and disease management.* Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment to ensure functionality and safety.* Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress accurately and timely.* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.* Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.*Qualifications** *Licensure:* Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Arizona.* *Certification:* Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) considered.* *Education:* Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor's degree preferred).* *Experience:* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an inpatient setting is preferred.* *Skills:* Proficiency in ventilator management, ABG analysis, and emergency response.
