Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, a dedication to animal care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, a strong background in dental procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform dental cleanings, extractions, and radiographs under the supervision of the veterinarian.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of dental procedures and surgeries.
  • Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments.
  • Monitor anesthesia during dental procedures and surgeries to ensure patient safety.
  • Educate pet owners on proper dental care and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Provide compassionate care to all patients and support to their owners.
  • Assist with other veterinary technician duties as needed, including surgery, laboratory work, and patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with current licensure.
  • Anesthetic induction and monitoring
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in veterinary dentistry.
  • Proficiency in dental radiography and dental prophylaxis.
  • Familiarity with surgical procedures and protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary dental procedures and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment and help teammates grow their skill sets.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high standard of patient care and client service.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Scale: $23-32/hr

Expected hours: 40 per week
